Important: the 64 bit version can only be used (in opposite to the 32 bit version) with macOS 10.10 or newer on Intel or Apple Silikon computers.

This version does not use "QuickTime" anymore but "AV Foundation" instead, because Apple deprecated QuickTime for 64 bit applications. Some facts must be noticed therefore:

• Some movie formats (like AVI, DivX, MKV) must be converted (with external tools) before, because "AV Foundation" can play only modern formats.
• EyeTV movies will not be played in EyeTV (or VLC) anymore but directly in nessViewer.
• QuickTime VR (panorama views) are not supported.

The 64 bit version is compatible to Gatekeeper, which means it is signed and notarized by an "identified developer".

Thru buying a nessViewer licence the version will be a full version - otherwise the version will be a demo version.
